Updates

The library changes in small publishing batches. Book chapters are added or revised only after their manuscript, navigation, assets, and rendered pages pass the relevant editorial and production checks.

July 2026

• Added the first published chapters of The Rust Engineering Handbook and connected them to the shared multi-book library.
• Expanded narrated chapters with synchronized text highlighting, remembered playback position, speed control, and a sticky mobile player.
• Consolidated mobile chapter tools so long chapters retain more reading space.
• Reworked chapter endings into a cover-led library shelf that shows the current book and available chapter counts.
• Improved phone chapter navigation and the global footer hierarchy.
• Began replacing thin utility pages with complete, printable practice resources and real reference definitions.

What can change

Editorial updates may correct facts, improve explanations, add examples, repair links, or clarify a decision rule. Structural updates may change navigation, responsive behavior, search metadata, print output, or accessibility without changing the chapter’s argument.

Substantive changes should preserve the reader promise or state the new scope clearly. Silent changes should not turn a finished chapter into a different chapter.

How releases are checked

Publishing runs build the complete static site, validate affected chapters, inspect important routes, and verify the deployed output. A successful build proves that the site renders; it does not replace editorial judgment, factual review, or reading the finished page.
